When you uploaded this last night, we were on our way to Speed Racer which was empty.
It took me years to find Point Blank to rent on VHS. Payback was interesting, but the Boorman was so much better. He is one of my favorite filmmakers. Yes, I like Boorman more than anyone we talked about on our show. Excalibur, The Emerald Forest, Deliverance, Zardoz, Hope And Glory, Hell IN The pacific, Hope And Glory, Zardoz, The General and The Tailor Of Panama are great films. Excalibur remains one of my all time films.
His memoirs are very good. Lee Marvin is such a badass in POint Blank. THe Richard Stark novels that film are based in are incredible.
Hardcore I saw while in JUnior High School or even younger along with another George C. Scott film-- Rage. I think it is safe to say that Soderbergh was influenced by it for Traffic in some ways.

Good Stuff-- are you the only real deal on here?

I strongly suggest A Francis Abbey personal filmography/Boxing Day retrospective for the 100th show.
