This was a very good post. Your talk about the Wizards game brought back a flood of good memories. We had season tickets to Washington Bullets from the late 70's to the mid 80's. Those were fun times. I must have gone several times a weeks at the height of it. We also went to couple of hockey games too. Good stuff.
That is sad about Chinatown, I have not been down there in a long time. I know what you mean about family hangouts.
We used to go to the Peking near the Avalon movie theater for decades. It finally closed about in the early 90's, but we went there all the time when we would go tot he movies. Great place. That was the best Chinese Restaurant around here. There was a great French place we used to go to too that is no longer in DC. Miss those places.
